2013 marks the 350th anniversary of the arrival of the first King’s Wards (Filles du Roy in French) in New France. Maison Saint-Gabriel, a place that hosted the King’s Wards waiting for their wedding offers an eventful program.
The Orchestre symphonique pop de Montreal, where Francois Ouimet is concertmaster, will give a tribute concert on Sunday, August 18, 2013 at 8 pm, under the direction of Chef Alain Cazes. This free concert will be held in the Marguerite-Bourgeoys park located in Pointe-Saint-Charles in Montreal.
